Bridget Marquardt

Bridget Marquardt is a television personality and model best known for starring on the E! reality series The Girls Next Door. Marquardt was raised in California after her family relocated there when she was young. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento and later received a master’s degree in communications from the University of the Pacific.

Marquardt began her career in modeling and entertainment after sending photos to Playboy magazine. She moved into the Playboy Mansion in 2002 and became one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends. Her rise to fame came in 2005 with The Girls Next Door, which followed Marquardt and fellow girlfriends Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson as they lived at the mansion. She remained a cast member of the show until 2009. In 2022, she reunited with Madison for the “Girls Next Level” podcast to rewatch the series.

Following her reality TV success, the model made guest appearances on shows like Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Celebrity Paranormal Project. In 2007, she starred in the horror film Kottentail. She went on to host Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches on the Travel Channel in 2009. In 2019, she launched her own podcast Ghost Magnet with Bridget Marquardt, focusing on the paranormal.

She was previously married to her college boyfriend Chad Marquardt, though the pair called it quits in 2002 and finalized their divorce in 2008. She began a long-term relationship with director Nick Carpenter in 2008, and the couple got engaged in 2015.
