Chris Lane

Chris Lane (born Christopher Eric Lane) is a country music singer and songwriter. Lane spent his childhood in Kernersville, North Carolina, with his twin brother and played baseball growing up. He went on to play baseball at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where his athletic career was cut short due to an injury. He turned his focus to music after college, learning to play guitar and performing locally in cover bands.

Lane began his career as the frontman for the Chris Lane Band, which released the independent album Let’s Ride in 2012. He later signed with Big Loud Records as a solo artist. His debut solo single “Broken Windshield View” charted in 2014, but his big breakthrough came in 2015 with “Fix,” which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

His debut album Girl Problems was released in 2016, followed by Laps Around the Sun in 2018. Throughout his career, he has toured with artists such as Florida Georgia Line, Lee Brice and Chris Young.

In May 2025, the singer announced his fourth studio album, Shade Tree.

Lane began dating former Bachelor contestant Lauren Bushnell, in 2018. The couple exchanged vows in October 2019 and share sons Dutton (born in 2021) and Baker (born in 2023). In May 2025, the pair announced they were expecting a third child. Their daughter, Logan, was born in November 2025.
