About
Hailing from Golden, Texas, Kacey Musgraves rose to fame in 2007 after appearing on Nashville Star, placing seventh overall. In 2012 Musgrave’s joined Lady A in the European cities of their Own the Night Tour. That same year she signed with Mercury Nashville and released her solo debut single. Leading up to her stardom she is a five time Grammy Award winner and Country Music Association Award winner.
Musgraves has since released four feature-length albums, which earned her six Grammy Awards and an additional seven nominations. She starred in the Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show special for Amazon Prime Video in November 2019. Her fourth album, Star-Crossed, was released in September 2021.
The “Breadwinner” singer married Ruston Kelly in October 2017 after one year of dating. The couple announced their separation in July 2020. After their divorce was finalized that September. She later moved on with poet Cole Schafer, confirming their relationship in August 2021. It was reported that they ended things in 2023.
