Josh Kelley

Josh Kelley is a singer-songwriter known for his blend of pop, rock and country music as well as his marriage to actress Katherine Heigl. Kelley was born in Augusta, Georgia, and raised in a musically inclined family. His younger brother, Charles Kelley, later found fame as a member of the country trio Lady A. Josh attended the University of Mississippi, where he studied business and played golf before shifting his focus to music. While in college he began writing songs and recording his own material, eventually pursuing music full time.

Josh launched his music career independently in the early 2000s, signing to Hollywood Records in 2002. His breakthrough came the following year with his album For the Ride Home (2003), which featured the hit single “Amazing.” The track received significant radio play and helped establish Josh as a rising singer-songwriter. He later released several albums across the pop and country genres, including Almost Honest (2005), Georgia Clay (2011) and New Lane Road (2016).

Josh met Katherine Heigl after she appeared in his 2005 music video for “Only You.” The pair got engaged in 2006 and wed the following year. They later expanded their family, adopting daughter Naleigh in 2009 and daughter Adalaide in 2012, respectively. Heigl gave birth to son Joshua in 2016.
