Celebrities mourned Natalie Cole on social media on Friday, January 1, after news broke of the award-winning singer’s death at the age of 65.
The “Unforgettable” songstress, whose father was the famed Nat King Cole, died on Thursday, December 31, of congestive heart failure.
“Natalie fought a fierce, courageous battle, dying how she lived . . . with dignity, strength and honor,” her family said in a statement to Us Weekly. TMZ was the first to report the news.
