Benny Blanco

Benny Blanco (born Benjamin Levin) is a record producer and composer, who’s written songs for artists such as Rihanna, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Britney Spears and his now-wife, Selena Gomez. He is the 2013 recipient of the Hall David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame and has been nominated for 11 Grammy Awards, including Producer of the Year, Non-Classical in 2017.

In addition to his prolific music career, Blanco is a chef and coauthored a cookbook titled Open Wide: A Cookbook for Friends alongside Jess Damuck in 2024.

As for his love life, Blanco first crossed paths with Gomez in 2015 when he produced her songs “Same Old Love” and “Kill Em With Kindness.” They later worked together on “I Can’t Get Enough” and “Single Soon,” the latter of which came out in August 2023. By that December, Gomez confirmed they were dating. Blanco proposed in December 2024, and he married Gomez in September 2025.
