Danny Ramirez

Danny Ramirez is an actor best known for his roles in Top Gun: Maverick, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Look Both Ways. Ramirez was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Miami, Florida. He studied acting at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and later trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting before he began landing professional work.

Ramirez made his television debut with guest roles on shows like The Affair, Blindspot and The Gifted in the late 2010s. His breakout came with his recurring role as Mario Martinez on Netflix’s On My Block, which led to more opportunities in both television and film. In 2021, he joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Joaquin Torres on the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Ramirez later starred as Lieutenant Mickey “Fanboy” Garcia in Top Gun: Maverick (2022) alongside Tom Cruise, a role that catapulted him into the spotlight. His film credits also include Assassination Nation (2018), No Exit (2022) and Winner (2024). In 2025, he returned as Joaquin Torres in Captain America: Brave New World.

In July 2025, a source confirmed to Us Weekly that the actor was casually dating Jessica Alba.
