Kelly Stafford

Kelly Stafford attended the University of Georgia, where she started dating Matthew Stafford, the-then quarterback for the Bulldogs football team. 

The couple got married in April 2015 and have welcomed four daughters: twins Chandler and Sawyer, born in March 2017, Hunter, born in August 2018, and Tyler, born in June 2020.

Kelly was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2019. In April of that year, she underwent a 12-hour surgery to remove the tumor, which was successful. 

In 2021, Kelly launched her podcast “The Morning After.” Cohosted by journalist Hank Winchester, who Kelly befriended when Matthew played for the Detroit Lions, the show covers everything from pop culture to parenting. 

Kelly expanded her podcast footprint in September 2024 with a “Morning After” offshoot show called “Timeout,” where Kelly and producer Kyra Stevens discuss the basics of football.
