Ken Urker

Ken Urker was best known as the former fiancé and partner of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and the father of their daughter, Aurora Raina Urker. He gained public attention through his relationship with Blanchard, whose criminal case and life after prison became the subject of extensive media coverage. Urker kept much of his early life private, and limited public information is available about his childhood, education or college attendance. Before becoming known to reality TV audiences, Urker lived outside the spotlight and worked in various jobs, including bartending.

Urker first attracted widespread attention in 2019 when his relationship with Blanchard became public. The pair initially connected in 2017 after Urker watched the HBO documentary Mommy Dead and Dearest, which explored Blanchard’s life and the 2015 killing of her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. Urker subsequently wrote to Blanchard while she was incarcerated, and their correspondence developed into a romantic relationship. He later appeared on the Lifetime reality series Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.

Urker proposed to Blanchard in 2018 while she was in prison, but the couple ended their relationship the following year. Blanchard married Ryan Anderson in 2022 while incarcerated, though they separated in March 2024 and later divorced. Urker and Blanchard rekindled their romance in 2024 and welcomed their daughter, Aurora Raina Urker, in December that same year. The couple split again in late 2026.

Urker died on October 1, 2026, at age 34.
