Lizzo

Lizzo (born Melissa Jefferson) began her music career in Minneapolis, releasing two independent albums before signing with Atlantic Records in 2016. The singer-songwriter and flutist scored mainstream recognition after the release of her 2019 album, Cuz I Love You. Mega-hits “Truth Hurts” and “Good as Hell” quickly climbed the Billboard charts, and Lizzo won three Grammy Awards from eight nominations at the 2020 ceremony.

Lizzo premiered her Emmy Award-winning reality competition series, Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, on Prime Video and released her fourth album, Special, in 2022. She took home the Grammy Award for Record of the Year in 2023 for “About Damn Time.”

Lizzo first sparked romance rumors with Myke Wright in 2021, and the pair made their red carpet debut as a couple one year later. In 2023, several of Lizzo’s backup dancers and her stylist filed harassment lawsuits against her. Lizzo has since denied the allegations.
