Shanina Shaik

Shanina Shaik is an Australian model best known for walking in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and appearing in major fashion campaigns. Born in Melbourne, Australia, Shaik began modeling at a young age. After a brief pause in her modeling career during high school to focus on her education, she returned to modeling full-time.

Shaik got her start in the industry after appearing on the Australian reality series Make Me a Supermodel in 2008, where she finished second overall. After moving to New York, she signed with major modeling agencies and quickly booked runway shows for designers such as Lorick, Richie Rich and Abaete. Her breakthrough came in 2011, when she made her debut in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, becoming one of the few Australian models to do so at the time.

She went on to walk for designers like Chanel, Tom Ford, Stella McCartney and Vivienne Westwood, and has appeared in campaigns for brands including Bebe and Jason Wu. Shaik has also appeared in The Mummy (2017) and made TV appearances on Model Squad and Ridiculousness.

Shaik married DJ Greg “DJ Ruckus” Andrews in 2018, but the couple split the following year. She later moved on with Matthew Adesuyan, and the pair welcomed their first child together in 2022.
