About
Sophia Grace Brownlee is an internet personality best known for her appearances on The Ellen Degeneres Show.
Brownlee rose to fame in 2011, when she and her younger cousin Rosie McClelland posted a cover of Nicki Minaj’s song “Super Bass” on YouTube. After the online video went viral, the pair were invited to appear on Ellen Degeneres‘ eponymous talk show to perform their rendition of the song.
Following their overnight success, Brownlee and McClelland continued to appear on Ellen. They got their own segment titled “Tea Time with Sophia Grace & Rosie,” which earned them a Teen Choice Award. Brownlee and McClelland made their last Ellen appearance in 2022 in the series’ final season.
In addition to Ellen, Brownlee and McClelland also appeared in a couple episodes of Nickelodeon’s Sam & Cat and their 2014 film Sophia Grace & Rosie’s Royal Adventure.
Brownlee welcomed her first child, son River, in February 2023. She announced in August 2024 that she is pregnant with baby No. 2.
