Hailing from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Susie Evans worked as a wedding videographer before appearing on season 26 of The Bachelor in January 2022. Evans, a former pageant queen with a passion for adventure, became a frontrunner throughout Clayton Echard’s season. Despite making it to the final three, the fitness trainer left the show after learning that Echard had been intimate with finalists Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey. She eventually returned in the March 2022 finale, meeting the Missouri native’s parents, before turning down his final rose and proposal. The pair reconciled off-camera ahead of After the Final Rose. Echard, for his part, planned to move to Virginia amid their romance. They split in September 2022.

Evans moved on with fellow Bachelor Nation alum Justin Glaze in October 2023, and the pair went public with their relationship in January 2024. Glaze announced in August 2024 that he and Evans had parted ways.
