About
Theresa Nist was a contestant on The Golden Bachelor season 1, which premiered in September 2023. Theresa ultimately accepted a proposal from Gerry Turner and the pair exchanged vows during ABC’s live The Golden Wedding television special in January 2024. In April of that year, Gerry and Theresa shared their plans to divorce. Us Weekly confirmed in June 2024 that the twosome had signed a marital settlement agreement.
Before appearing on the ABC reality show, Theresa wed William “Billy” Nist and the pair welcomed daughter Jen and son Tommy. He died in November 2014.
