Officially a family of four! Kings of Leon’s Nathan Followill and his wife, Jessie Baylin, have welcomed their second child — a baby boy — and confirmed their happy news on Friday, April 13.
The 38-year-old rocker took to Instagram three days after the arrival of their little bundle of joy to announce the happy news. “Oliver Francis Followill has arrived,” he captioned a pic of the newborn’s footprints. “I’m so in love it hurts.”
Baylin also got in on the social media reveal by posting a sweet black-and-white shot of their 5-year-old daughter, Violet, doting on her new baby brother.
“Hello world, here he is,” the Nashville based singer/songwriter captioned the pic. “Oliver Francis Followill. You complete us in every way. 4.10.18”
Followill first announced that they were expanding their family in a funny picture of his wife in November. “No thanksgiving pregnant stress here at all,” he captioned the pic. “#Turkeyme #babyme #wineme.”
One week prior to Oliver’s arrival, Baylin celebrated her 34th birthday on April 4 and documented one of the best parts of the celebration — the cake! “Strawberry confetti cake of my buttercream birthday dreams,” she wrote alongside the photo.
The couple — who tied the knot in November 2009 in Brentwood, Tennessee — often share glimpses of their life together with followers on social media, including their final family-of-three vacation. Followill captured an adorable moment where he held onto Violet while his wife cradled her growing belly. “Aloha and Happy New Year’s Eve,” he captioned the pic.
