More triumphant than a triple axle!
Former figure skating champ Tonya Harding gave birth to a baby boy in her native Washington state on Saturday, according to the Oregonian.
It's the first child for the 40-year-old skater, who wed Joseph Jens Price last summer.
"Everybody's happy and healthy," the couple's pal Don Horn told the Oregonian, adding that the ex-Olympian gave birth via C-section.
Harding gained worldwide notoriety in 1994 for her involvement in a brutal attack against Nancy Kerrigan, her chief figure skating rival at the time. The gold-medal contender was subsequently banned from professional skating and eventually turned to boxing, acting and other venues to earn a living.
"She's always wanted a baby," her friend Horn said. "She was told she could never have a child … and guess what? It really is a miracle and she really is very happy."
