Evelyn Lozada is well known for her stint on VH1's Basketball Wives, but on Wednesday, she officially became a football wife when swapping vows with NFL star Chad Ochocinco.
Tying the knot in an evening ceremony in Miami July 4, Lozada, 36, and the Miami Dolphins wide receiver, 34, said their vows as family, friends and VH1 reality show cameras looked on.

The couple's nuptials were filmed for their VH1 show, Ev and Ocho, debuting in September. The football star also live tweeted portions of his big day, allowing his 3.5 million Twitter followers to gain access to his pre-ceremony planning. Once the ceremony wrapped, Ochocinco updated his profile picture to show off an image of his and Lozada's wedding rings.
"How many times is Eve gonna change outfits… Is this normal to have more than 1 outfit besides the wedding gown?" he jokingly tweeted late Wednesday after tying the knot.
Holding their ceremony on the July 4 Independence Day holiday was a clever decision on Ochocinco's part, as the football star (real name: Chad Johnson) told his Twitter followers he chose the date "so I'd never forget our damn anniversary."

The former Dancing With the Stars contestant and father of four proposed to longtime love Lozada in November 2010 with a whopping 10-carat diamond. "He had a jeweler come to the house," Lozada told Us of her intimate proposal, explaining that a rep from jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills frequently travels to clients. "[It was] a total surprise! We sat there and picked out the ring."
Enjoying a two-year engagement, Lozada tells Us she can't wait to live happily ever after with Ochocinco.
"Before we met, we communicated over the phone for a month. We got to know each other like that before seeing each other," she said. "We have a true friendship. And he can keep up with my mouth! I'm very verbal, and say what I think and feel. He's the same way. He makes me laugh."
