Chad Ochocinco
Before he was known as Cheryl Burke‘s dancing partner — and maybe fling — on Dancing With the Stars, Chad Ochocinco‘s claim to fame was as a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Ochocinco was born January 9, 1978 as Chad Javon Johnson, but legally changed his name to Chad Ochocinco in 2008 to reflect his jersey number. He has been to the Pro Bowl six times and named All-pro three times.
He became more of a household name when he shaved his hair into a mohawk and bleached it, but that stunt doesn’t compare to when he was on DWTS in spring 2010. He was an audience favorite and charmed his partner by giving her smooches and a big platinum diamond ring worth over $10,000. The football star finished the series in fourth place.
Ochocinco was the leading man in Monica‘s “Everything to Me” music video and had a dating show on VH1 called Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch in 2010. In September 2010, the athlete lent his likeness OchocincO’s Cereal, a honey nut oat cereal, with proceeds from the sales going to Feed the Children.
Ochocinco was briefly married to Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada and has four children: Jicyra, Chad Johnson II, Chade, and Cha’iel.
