Ryan Reynolds tweeted about his “daughter’s crib” on Thursday, October 20, leading some followers to speculate the actor and Blake Lively’s second child, whom they welcomed last month, is a girl!
“The mobile above my daughter’s crib is just a whole bunch of NuvaRings. So she remembers how lucky she is,” the Deadpool actor, 39, jokingly tweeted.
Considering Reynolds and Lively — whom he married in 2012 — are also parents to daughter James, 22 months, the tweet could also refer to their firstborn.
As previously reported, the duo welcomed their second child last month in New York City and have kept mum about the baby’s gender and name, just as they did when James was born. (James’ birthdate wasn’t even known until Reynolds tweeted on her first birthday!)
Their second child’s moniker is likely nothing too out of the ordinary though, considering Reynolds joked about strange baby names last February while talking about James on Good Morning America.
“In the spectrum of weird celebrity baby names, I feel like we’re not really breaking any new ground here,” he said. “I mean, I didn’t call her Summer Squash Meadowlark or something.”
