Inception hunk Tom Hardy may be engaged to a woman and have a 2-year-old son with a former girlfriend, but back in the day, he liked the company of men.
Asked by NOW magazine if he's ever had any sexual relations with other men, the 32-year-old actor (who plays Eames in the No. 1 box office thriller) said: "As a boy? Of course, I have. I'm an actor for ****'s sake. I've played with everything and everyone. I love the form and the physicality."
But these days, "now that I'm in my 30s, it doesn't do it for me," he said. "I'm done experimenting."
He said he still attracts men.
"A lot of gay men get my thing for shoes," said Hardy. "I have definite feminine qualities and a lot of gay men are incredibly masculine." See the top 10 unlikely male sex icons.
Though he said "a lot of people say I seem masculine," the actor (who just wrapped up the action-drama Warrior) added, "I don't feel it. I feel intrinsically feminine. I'd love to be one of the boys, but I always felt a bit on the outside. Maybe my masculine qualities come from overcompensating because I'm not one of the boys."
