Twi-hards will have to continue waiting to see Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson reunite in the spotlight.
The estranged couple will not be attending upcoming Twilight conventions being held at San Antonio, Texas on Aug. 25, Detroit, Michigan on Sept. 29, Parsippany, New Jersey on Oct. 5 and Burbank, California on Nov. 3.
Although they've attended in past years, Stewart, 22, Pattinson, 26, and their costar Taylor Lautner, 20, are skipping this year's events for the final Twilight saga film, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.
"The passion and dedication of Twilight fandom has been amazing and we're out to throw one last giant convention, a final gathering to see old friends that have made up the Twilight family," Creation Entertainment said in a statement to Sugarscape. "Although Rob, Kristen and Taylor will not be with us this time out we will have a super line-up of other Twilight stars and the weekend will be filled with special events, movie prop and costume displays, contests, panels, auctions, parties, exclusive merchandise, music and much more, including some surprises!"
A source tells Us Weekly, "They were never supposed to attend this convention."
Stewart was caught cheating on Pattinson, her real-life boyfriend of three years with married director Rupert Sanders, 41, on July 17.
Last week, Pattinson stepped back into the spotlight to promote his new film, Cosmopolis. Stewart, however, has avoided all public appearance, and Lautner has stayed silent about his costar's cheating scandal.
"He looked up to her," a source tells Us Weekly of Lautner, adding he feels let down. But the source adds, "He's dealing with it in a businesslike way because it's easier for him."
