All good. Pierce Brosnan and his wife Keely Shaye Smith took a stroll together around their Malibu, Calif., neighborhood this past Saturday, Feb. 28, after a fire recently caused over $1 million worth of damages to their home.
The Bond hunk, 61, wearing khakis and a navy polo, popped his collar for the outing, while his wife cooled down in a sleeveless white linen dress. Brosnan held Smith’s hand as the two soaked in the sun.
At one point, Brosnan laughed as he chatted with his journalist wife of 14 years. The Thomas Crown Affair star was later seen being the ever-so-gracious husband by taking out the trash.
Brosnan’s demeanor on Saturday was much lighter than it was earlier in February, when the actor watched part of his home burn down. As previously reported by Us, Brosnan stood in the street and witnessed as fire spread from his garage to one of the rooms in his home. Both Brosnan and his wife were at home when the fire started, along with their sons Dylan, 18, and Paris, 14.
Luckily, the L.A. County Fire Department extinguished the blaze in 40 minutes with the help of about 50 firefighters, and there were no injuries reported. However, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department noted to Us that the cause of the fire was under investigation, with damages estimated at over $1 million.
In the interim, Brosnan and his wife escaped the nightmare and went on a romantic vacation in Hawaii.
