It's been a big week for Bachelor hunk Sean Lowe. Within hours of revealing to the world that he chose and proposed to finalist Catherine Giudici, the 29-year-old entrepreneur announced that he would be competing with Peta Murgatroyd on Season 16 of Dancing With the Stars — a decision that could pay off for his upcoming nuptials.
Speaking about Lowe during an interview for KIIS FM's On Air With Ryan Seacrest, one-time DWTS champion Murgatroyd dished that she planned to give the Bachelor star and his new fiancee a few tips for their first big dance as husband and wife. "I've already kind of invited myself," the Australian pro joked of the couple's wedding, which will be televised for ABC. "I'm gonna do the waltz for them. They're gonna be dancing it. I'll just teach it."
Murgatroyd added that Giudici would "definitely" watch her fiance's rehearsals and performances when the competition kicks off on March 18 at 8 p.m. "She'll definitely be there every week at the show on Monday nights," the pro said. "I'm happy that she's gonna be there supporting us."
Lowe and his DWTS partner have been rehearsing for just a week, but Murgatroyd sees a lot of potential in him. "He has already got some pretty good moves down," she revealed. "I definitely think Sean's gonna make it far. I think he's got all the determination and drive to win that Mirrorball."
The biggest challenge will be "getting some bit of rhythm and some soul into those 'white boy hips,'" she joked. "I think he's pretty straight-laced, but I'm definitely gonna shake it up for him."
