Lady Gaga is one magical sorceress. The "Applause" singer, 29, sent Taylor Swift words of encouragement for her romantic future earlier this year, and it apparently took just a few weeks for Gaga's prediction to come true.
Now happily dating DJ Calvin Harris, Swift, 25, acknowledged Gaga's powers in a tweet to a fan this past weekend. She responded to a message reading, "I pride myself on still thinking love can be like a romantic comedy but sometimes I just think I'm behind and just won't catch up."
"Go read Gaga's tweet that she sent me a few months ago," Swift wrote. It's good love luck. Because it's not a tweet. It's a magical spell."
Gaga's tweet in question was sent this past March after Swift praised the newly engaged New York native for "really living right now." Mother Monster, whose hunky husband-to-be is Chicago Fire's Taylor Kinney, responded to the country-turned-pop star's words, writing, "Wow you're a sweetheart! Life is friends, family, and love! We all see that in you, your prince charming will come!"
As fans know, Swift found her prince charming soon after in Harris. As Us Weekly exclusively revealed, the two musicians started dating in April. They have gone more public with their relationship in recent weeks, with Harris, 31, telling HITS Radio last week that he is "insanely happy" with the star, whose past romantic misfortunes (with the likes of Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, and Joe Jonas, among others), have inspired many of her songs.
Lady Gaga continued her lovefest with Swift on Saturday, July 18, nodding to her magical love spell. She shared a shot of The Little Mermaid's Ariel and Eric, writing, ".@taylorswift13 I only cast happy spells! Unless there's bad blood. I have a separate cauldron for that. Happy for u."
Gaga and Swift's "Bad Blood" cauldron may be a shared one for mutual frenemy Katy Perry. The "Dark Horse" singer famously inspired the lyrics to Swift's hit single and its accompanying star-studded music video, while Perry and Gaga previously feuded on Twitter.
