Jonah can’t escape the Wolf! While Oscar-nominated actor Jonah Hill was hosting the Jan. 25 episode of Saturday Night Live, he had a special cameo from his Wolf of Wall Street costar Leonardo DiCaprio.
During Hill’s opening monologue, he was hounded by questions about DiCaprio, 39, from various SNL cast members. Frustrated, Hill, 30, began to bash his A-List costar.
After being asked about DiCaprio’s famous hair, Hill responded, “It’s decent I guess. Not that memorable. Kind of like mine, maybe worse.”
After several digs at the Aviator actor, Hill was joined on stage by DiCaprio himself, much to the delight of the crowd. DiCaprio, who was also nominated for an Oscar for his role as Jordan Belfort in The Wolf of Wall Street, calmly came on stage and asked, “I have a question. What the hell are you doing man?”
Sheepishly the Moneyball star admitted to trying to be a “big shot.”
“And what did we say about acting like a big shot in public?” Dicaprio asked.
“We said, like, I shouldn’t do it,” Hill admitted.
“What should you do instead?” DiCaprio asked.
“Just, like, try to be the best version of me,” Hill responded.
The SNL host then asked his costar if he would do “the thing” they used to do on set to make him feel safe. DiCaprio then stood behind him as Hill threw his arms out, reenacting the famous scene between DiCaprio and Kate Winslet from 1997’s Titanic.
“I’m flying Jack!” Hill shouted.
“Yes Rose! You’re flying,” DiCaprio replied.
