It's coming! Stars Wars fans now have something else to focus on besides the mesmerizing Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailers. On Sunday, May 3, Vanity Fair released the cover of its upcoming June issue via Twitter — and it features Han Solo and Chewbacca!
Harrison Ford (Solo) and Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) are joined by newbies John Boyega (Finn) and Daisy Ridley (Rey) for the captivating photo shoot, shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.
The mag promises an exclusive first look at the adventure sci-fi, which also stars Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, and Andy Serkis. Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill will reprise their roles as Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker, respectively.
Last month, director J.J. Abrams was on hand to debut yet another teaser trailer for the highly anticipated film during the Star Wars Celebration event in Anaheim, Calif. In the sneak peek, Solo says those three magical words: "Chewie, we're home."
Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
