About
Shrinking is a comedy-drama series created by Bill Lawrence, Jason Segel and Brett Goldstein. Segel stars as Jimmy Laird, a grieving therapist who throws himself into his work after the death of his wife — and crosses some boundaries in the process.
Other characters include fellow therapist Gaby (Jessica Williams), patient Sean (Luke Tennie), Jimmy’s best friend and lawyer Brian (Michael Urie), Jimmy’s teenage daughter Alice (Lukita Maxwell), senior therapist Dr. Paul Rhoades (Harrison Ford) and Jimmy’s neighbor Liz (Christa Miller).
Shrinking premiered in 2023. Season 2 began filming in January 2024.
