
Supergirl
Supergirl is based on the DC Comics character of the same name and premiered on CBS in 2015. Melissa Benoist stars as Kara Zor-El (a.k.a. Supergirl), who is Superman’s cousin and one of the last surviving Kryptonians from Krypton.
After being forced to reveal her powers, Kara becomes National City’s protector to battle the hundreds of criminals hiding on Earth. Kara fights alongside her adoptive sister Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh), Green Martian J’onn J’onzz (David Harewood), Guardian James “Jimmy” Olsen (Mehcad Brooks) and tech wizz Winslow “Winn” Schott (Jeremy Jordan).
Supergirl moved to The CW after its first season and is set in the Arrowverse. The series ended in 2021 with season 6.
