The Traitors

Peacock’s reality series The Traitors is inspired by the Dutch series De Verraders and premiered in January 2023.

Hosted by Alan Cumming, the show features a group of contestants participating in a game similar to Mafia in which a small group are the designated “traitors” and must work together to eliminate the “faithfuls” with a grand prize of $250,000 on the line. The “faithfuls” have to discover and banish the “traitors” by majority vote in order to win.

The Traitors won the 2023 Emmy Award for Outstanding Cast For a Reality Program. Season 2 premiered in January 2024 with The Challenge’s Chris “CT” Tamburello and Trishelle Cannatella making it to the end.

Season 3 premiered with a new cast in January 2025.
