Single sans makeup! Gwyneth Paltrow attended the Paris Photo Los Angeles exhibition at Paramount Studios, sporting a fresh face and big smile on Sunday, April 27. "Gwyneth looked happy," an eyewitness tells Us Weekly.
The recently-separated star, 41, wore black-and-white printed shorts, a white sleeveless top, and canary cross-body purse. Paltrow swept her blonde locks back into a cute ponytail and sported a tiny watch. "She looked beautiful," the eyewitness adds of the clean-living enthusiast, who wore no wedding ring.
Paltrow and Chris Martin announced their split in March after nearly 11 years of marriage. The Coldplay frontman, 37, spoke to BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe on Monday, April 28, about his very public split from the Goop founder, which they described as a "Conscious Uncoupling." Martin explained that the split was in many ways over his "own issues," while adding, "If you don't let love really in, then you can't really give it back."
In their split announcement, the two stars expressed, "We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children."
The Oscar-winning actress was joined Sunday at the risque exhibit by both Apple, 9, and Moses, 8 (who recently celebrated his birthday with a big party at their home in Brentwood). Both kids were unable to join their mom in certain galleries due to age restrictions.
"One [room] had photos of dead bodies," the eyewitness shares. "The door was open so the kids could always see their mom. They looked interested, happy while they waited. They had the type of curiosity you have when you're young and are forbidden to do something."
The annual Paris Photo Los Angeles art fair opened with stars like Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, and Jodie Foster. The source says, "the rest of the exhibit had a lot of naked, sex, sex toy photos," adding, "Those kids might have some questions after…"
