Jennifer Lawrence puts her spunk and charisma on the back burner to shoot Dior’s Fall/Winter 2015 handbag campaign.
The Hunger Games actress, 24, sports an androgynous look, with her blonde pixie slicked back and dons a masculine three-piece tuxedo outfit. It’s quite a stern look for the animated star as she often wears flowy, bright-colored gowns on the red carpet.
The serious vibe could be for the purpose of driving home the campaign’s message to inspire women to be powerful and confident. “A powerful woman is someone that exudes confidence, and can be tough, but fair and kind,” she pronounces. “And also knows how to get what she wants.”
In the clip, Lawrence also expresses how she got into character for the Patrick Demarchelier lensed campaign. “It’s important to have some type of character in mind or an emotion, just so you’ll have something in your eyes,” she said.
The campaign displays the American Hustle star modeling several variations of the fashion house’s iconic leather handbag in bright yellow, soft pink, and frosted lavender.
This is Lawrence’s fourth time fronting the Dior handbag campaign.
