No pain, no gain! Lea Michele gave fans an inside view of her facial-hair-maintenance routine via Snapchat Sunday, August 7, in a series of videos.
The first clip shows Michele, 29, in her kitchen, ominously declaring, “This is gonna hurt. Bad,” as Stevie, her waxer, works on her arches.
The follow-up video shows the next step in her process: the upper lip. “This is the real beauty, you guys,” the Scream Queens star sassily comments as Stevie applies the product. “This is what happens when you’re half Jewish and half Italian,” she says, before the pair erupt in giggles.
The reveal of her brow and upper-lip maintenance comes on the heels of Michele’s nude September 2016 Women’s Health U.K. cover story, in which she put all her curves on display. In the spread, the Glee alumna strategically censored her assets with her hands and legs and kept her long, curly tresses down. The picture highlighted several of her 14 tattoos, including the “Finn” ink she got in tribute to her late boyfriend, Glee costar Cory Monteith, who died of an overdose in 2013.
In her interview, Michele, who Us Weekly exclusively confirmed split from ex Robert Buckley in July, also put her relationship goals out there. “I take care of myself, and I spend a lot of time and energy doing that, so I need someone else to look after themselves too,” she said. “It’s only then that you can come together and be a really good team.”
