Happily ever after with Amal! George Clooney and his wife Amal Alamuddin have taken their newlywed bliss to the UK for a second wedding celebration that will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25.
Clooney, 53, flew into London on Thursday to join his spouse at their home in Berkshire. Their bash hosted by the bride's parents, mom Baria and dad Ramzi, will take place at the Danesfield House Hotel, which is close to their home.
Meanwhile, Us Weekly can reveal that friends and family — many from Alamuddin's side — have arrived in London for the festivities. Amal's immediate family members, including her sister Tala along with her mom, headed to the bride's new countryside home for an intimate family dinner on Friday evening.
An insider told Us that the lovebirds kept the occasion simple, opting out of formal catering and preparing the dinner on their own. The same observer overheard Baria gushing about her new son-in-law to family members, saying: "I can't wait for you to meet [George]… It has been such a lovely month."
The handsome actor and his barrister wife, 36, tied the knot in Venice, Italy, on Sept. 27, before celebrity pals like Emily Blunt, Bill Murray, Anna Wintour, and Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. (Gerber told Us Thursday that Amal was "really perfect" for his business partner Clooney. "She's beautiful, engaging… together, I think they can do some incredible things.")
Following their action-packed wedding weekend, the couple returned to the UK for a brief honeymoon in their Berkshire home. "[It's] just somewhere to enjoy time together with no interruptions," a source told Us.
