Well, you know they have at least one thing in common! Kristen Stewart and Dylan Penn, both of whom famously dated Robert Pattinson, bonded on a night out in France on Tuesday, Jan. 27, after hitting up the shows at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
An eyewitness tells Us Weekly that the Still Alice actress, 24, and the model, 23, met at Paris hotspot Chez Castel, where Stewart was hanging out with some pals.
“They were laughing, talking, and even dancing together all night,” the onlooker tells Us. “They looked like they became friends.”
Indeed, a source says the two “really hit it off” and plan to stay in touch going forward.
Penn — the daughter of now-divorced actors Sean Penn and Robin Wright — was first linked to Stewart’s ex-boyfriend back in 2013, a few months after he and his Twilight costar ended their tumultuous four-year relationship.
Though their romance never really took off, she visited him on the set of one of his films, and was seen spending time with him at Chateau Marmont. “He was affectionate with her,” an observer told Us at the time. “They seemed comfortable.”
Stewart, of course, dated the Brit, 28, on and off from 2009 to 2013. They broke up temporarily in 2012 after Us Weekly exclusively revealed she’d cheated with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, but they got back together not long after, ultimately splitting for good in May 2013.
Pattinson, for his part, is now happily coupled up with singer FKA twigs. Us broke news last September that the two were dating, and they’ve been going strong ever since.
“The positivity that I get from [my relationship] makes the more challenging aspects…very worth it,” the 27-year-old singer-songwriter (also a Brit) told USA Today in November.
