A miscommunication in the sisterhood? Just days after Amber Tamblyn confirmed that the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants cast, including Alexis Bledel and America Ferrera, were all godmothers to Blake Lively‘s first child, James, Ryan Reynolds’ wife set the record straight.
“I never named them my godmothers,” Lively, 27, told E! News at the press screening of her new film The Age of Adaline. “They’re my dear friends. I would say my baby has a lot of fairy godmothers.”
So who is little baby James’ godmother? In this case, Lively turned to her own sister instead of her sisterhood.
“My sister would be the one to take care of my baby [if something were to happen],” Blake said of her older sister Robyn Lively.
Robyn, 43, an actress best known for her work in the late ’80s and early ’90s, starred in 1989’s Teen Witch and The Karate Kid: Part III.
Tamblyn claimed that she and her costars were all the baby’s godmothers on VH1’s Morning Buzz Live, when host Nick Lachey asked.
“Yes, that is a fact,” she said, after the former boy bander questioned her about being a godmother to James.
