
Chris Ivery
Chris Ivery is a music producer and the husband of actress Ellen Pompeo. Ivery was born and raised in Massachusetts and attended Harvard University. He later moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music.
Ivery started out as a songwriter and producer, working behind the scenes in the music industry. He boasts cowriting credits on Rihanna’s 2011 hit “Cheers (Drink to That),” which gained recognition after being featured on the NBC musical drama Smash. The producer later pivoted to fashion in 2019, launching the sportswear brand STLA Collection in collaboration with Italian clothing brand Sergio Tacchini.
In 2003, Ivery met Pompeo at a Los Angeles grocery store, and the two quickly hit it off. They tied the knot in 2007 in a private ceremony. The couple has three children: Stella (born in 2009), Sienna (born in 2014) and Eli (born in 2016).
