David Boreanaz

David Boreanaz is an actor and television producer. He was raised in Philadelphia and had his heart set on acting from a young age. He attended Ithaca College and graduated with a degree in cinema before moving to Los Angeles to begin his acting career.

Boreanaz’s first acting gig was as Kelly’s biker boyfriend on Married…with Children in 1993. In 1997, he landed his big break as Angel on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. After three seasons on the cult hit, Boreanaz headlined the show’s spinoff series, Angel, for five years before signing on to Bones in 2005. Immediately after the show’s end in 2017, Boreanaz joined the cast of CBS’s military drama SEAL Team as Jason Hayes, and remained a cast member until the show’s end in late 2024.

Boreanaz has coproducing credits for both Bones and SEAL Team.

From 1997 to 1999, Boreanaz was married to Ingrid Quinn. In 2001, Boreanaz married actress Jaime Bergman, with whom he has two children, son Jaden Rayne (born in 2002) and daughter Bardot Vida (born in 2009).
