Gregg Leakes

Gregg Leakes was a real estate investor and television personality best known for appearing on The Real Housewives of Atlanta alongside his wife, NeNe Leakes.

Gregg built a successful career in real estate investment in Atlanta before entering the public eye via reality television. He rose to national attention in 2008 when The Real Housewives of Atlanta premiered on Bravo, featuring his relationship with NeNe as a central storyline.

Throughout multiple seasons of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Leakes became known for his calm demeanor and support of NeNe’s television and business ventures. He also appeared in episodes of MasterChef USA and Celebrity Family Feud alongside NeNe.

Gregg wed NeNe in 1997. The couple divorced in 2011 but later reconciled and remarried in 2013. They had one son together, Brentt (born in 1999). He also had five other children from previous relationships. He was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2018 and went into remission in 2019, but the cancer later returned.

Gregg died on September 1, 2021, at age 66.
