Jason Behr

Jason Behr is an actor best known for his breakout role as alien heartthrob Max Evans on the WB series Roswell. Behr spent his childhood in Richfield, Minnesota, and attended Richfield High School, where he developed an interest in acting. As a teenager, he had a chance run-in with a Hollywood manager, which prompted him to move to Los Angeles and begin his acting career.

Behr landed early television work in commercials before making early appearances on shows including Step by Step, Pacific Blue and Dawson’s Creek. In 1995, he joined the cast of Sherman Oaks as Tyler Baker. His career took off in 1999 when he was cast as the lead in Roswell, a role that quickly made him a fan favorite and established him as a prominent young actor on television. The series ran for three seasons before it ended in 2002.

Following Roswell, Behr appeared in films such as The Shipping News (2001), The Grudge (2004) and Skinwalkers (2006). He continued working steadily in television with roles on 7th Heaven, Roswell, New Mexico and Supergirl.

Behr married actress KaDee Strickland in 2006. The couple welcomed one child, a son, in 2013.
