KaDee Strickland

KaDee Strickland (born Katherine Dee Strickland) is an actress best known for her role as Charlotte King on the ABC medical drama Private Practice. Strickland was born in Patterson, Georgia, and raised in a small rural community. She developed an interest in acting during high school and later pursued formal training. After graduating, she attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she earned her bachelor’s degree before pursuing screen work.

Strickland began working in film with supporting roles in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Her early credits included The Sixth Sense (1999) and Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid (2004), helping her gain visibility in mainstream studio projects. She continued building her résumé with appearances in horror and thriller films, including The Grudge (2004), before moving more steadily into television.

Strickland joined the cast of Private Practice in 2007 as Charlotte King, a role she played through the series finale in 2013. She later appeared in series including Secrets and Lies, Shut Eye and Cruel Summer. In 2024, she joined the cast of Chicago Fire as Monica Pascal.

Strickland married actor Jason Behr in 2006. The couple share one child, son Atticus (born in 2013).
