Josh Dallas

Josh Dallas is an American actor known for his roles as Prince Charming on Once Upon a Time and Ben Stone on Manifest. He was raised in nearby New Albany, Indiana, where he attended New Albany High School. While in school, he was offered a scholarship to study acting at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London.

Dallas began his career performing with respected British theater companies including the Royal National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and the English National Opera. After returning to the United States he moved into screen work, landing early film and TV roles in films such as Thor (2011) and Red Tails (2012).

In 2011, he landed his breakout role on ABC’s Once Upon a Time, where he portrayed David Nolan/Prince Charming for six seasons. He remained a principal cast member on the show, alongside future spouse Ginnifer Goodwin, until its end in 2018. He later joined the cast of Netflix’s Manifest as Ben Stone, portraying the character from 2018 to 2023.

Dallas married actress Lara Pulver in 2007 and the two divorced in 2011. He began dating Goodwin that same year, and the couple married in 2014. They share sons Oliver (born in 2014) and Hugo (born in 2016).
