Melania Trump

Melania Trump is a former model and the third wife of Donald Trump. She served as first lady of the United States from 2017 to 2021.

Melania met Donald in 1998, two years after she moved to New York City. At the time, he was separated from his second wife, Marla Maples. Melania and Donald married in 2005 and welcomed son Barron in 2006. Later that year, Melania became a U.S. citizen.

Melania supported her husband throughout his presidential campaign, even making a speech at the 2016 Republican National Convention. During his White House tenure, Melania broke convention by continuing to reside in New York City rather than Washington, D.C. She is the only first lady to become a naturalized United States citizen.
