Sammi Giancola

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola (born Samantha Rae Giancola), is an American television personality best known for starring on the hit reality series Jersey Shore. Sammi was born and raised in Hazlet, New Jersey. She went to Raritan High School, where she excelled at athletics, and later earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from William Paterson University.

Giancola first entered the mainstream after joining the cast of MTV’s Jersey Shore in its inaugural season in 2009. Her storylines and relationships quickly made her a central figure of the series and gained her a large following. She remained on the show until its final season aired in 2012, after which she pursued other opportunities in entertainment. That same year, she landed a role in the comedy film The Three Stooges and later made guest appearances on shows like The View and Snooki & JWoww.

The reality star has also ventured into fashion and launched her brand, Sweetheart Styles, in 2013.

Giancola had an on-and-off relationship with Jersey Shore castmate Ronnie Ortiz-Magro from 2009 to 2016. She began dating Christian Biscardi in 2017 and the pair became engaged in 2019; she confirmed their split in 2021. The following year, she started dating Justin May, and they became engaged in 2024. The couple welcomed their first child, son Vincent (born in 2025), before tying the knot later that year.
