Shawn Ashmore

Shawn Ashmore is a Canadian actor best known for roles in X-Men, Cadet Kelly and The Rookie.

Ashmore has been acting since the 1990s, receiving his big break in 2000 when he was cast as Bobby Drake/Iceman in X-Man and its series of sequels. His credits also include Animorphs, In a Heartbeat, Wolf Girl, The Ruins, 2010’s Frozen, Quantum Break, Conviction and three episodes of The Boys. Ashmore also starred as Mike Weston on The Following, which ran from 2013 to 2015.

Shawn has a twin brother, Aaron Ashmore, who is also an actor and best known for playing Jimmy Olsen on Smallville and Gil on Ginny & Georgia.

In his personal life, Shawn dated Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gossip Girl alum Michelle Trachtenberg from 2004 to 2006. He later moved on with Dana Wasdin, getting married in 2012. The couple welcomed son Oliver in 2018.
