Banding together. The family of Bobbi Kristina Brown has stayed close in the days since she was admitted to Atlanta's Emory University Hospital and placed in a medically induced coma, and is now planning a public vigil in her honor.
Jerod Brown, Bobbi Kristina's cousin, took to Facebook on Sunday, Feb. 8, to publicize the event in support of his family member. He wrote, "Who's coming tomorrow??? #StillPrayForBK" and shared a flyer for the vigil.
"Shining a light for healing by candlelight for Bobbi Kristina Brown," the advertisement reads. "All are welcome to attend as a show of support for Bobbi Kriss and family."
The candlelight service is being held on Monday evening, Feb. 9, at Riverdale, Ga.'s Town Center. Bobbi Kristina's relatives, including her grandmother Cissy Houston, have paid frequent visits to the hospital over the past several days.
The only daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston was rushed to the hospital after being found unresponsive in a bathtub in her home on Jan. 31. In the days since, she's been in a medically induced coma and is still fighting for her life.
"It's really dire," a source told Us Weekly late last week. "It doesn't look like she's coming back, at least not back to her old self."
As unexplained injuries were reportedly found on Bobbi Kristina's body, new details have continued to emerge about the tragic situation, which took place almost three years to the date after Whitney Houston's untimely death at the age of 48 on Feb. 11, 2012.
Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend Nick Gordon is allegedly being investigated for his involvement in the incident. As Us reported, Gordon has spent a few days away from his love, choosing not to visit her in the hospital for a stretch.
