The battlefield never looked so good! As they continue to film the World War II drama Fury, Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, and some other cast members, including Kevin Vance, Jon Bernthal, and Logan Lerman, posed for a picture taken by the film's director, David Ayers. Covered in dirt and grime, the actors looked stoic, with Pitt's hair slicked back and LaBeouf's full-grown mustache prominent.
"Day 56," Ayers captioned the picture.
The film follows American soldiers, who are sent on a daunting mission around the time that Hilter's Third Reich is collapsing. It also stars Clint Eastwood's hunky son, Scott Eastwood.
This isn't Pitt's first WWII film. He also gave a memorable performance in Quentin Tarnatino's 2009 hit Inglourious Basterds as Lt. Aldo Raine.
The 49-year-old father of six with fiancee Angelina Jolie recently took some time off from filming to visit with his family in Australia, where Jolie is directing her film Unbroken.
The family vacationed on a yacht in Sydney Harbor on Dec. 3, as proud papa Pitt took photos of his growing brood.
Fury is set to come out Nov. 12, 2014.
