Quentin Tarantino
A legend in cult film circles, this Knoxville, Tenn., native is known for his unique directing and screenwriting talents.
After Quentin Tarantino released Reservoir Dogs in 1992, many film aficionados were afraid he could not top the success of his first film.
He proved them all wrong with the release of 1994’s Pulp Fiction, which was nominated for seven Oscars. Tarantino won one that year for Best Screenplay.
His next big hit was 1997’s Jackie Brown, which was followed by 2003’s film Kill Bill: Vol. 1, starring Uma Thurman, and 2009’s Inglourious Basterds starring Brad Pitt.
Tarantino has been linked to many different screen stars including Shar Jackson and Mira Sorvino.
