Keeping up with the … gym? Kim Kardashian showed off her recently slimmed-down body following the December birth of her son, Saint West, in a series of new Snapchat workout posts.
“Working out in between filming,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 35, captioned a photo of herself climbing the StairMaster on Tuesday, August 2.
Kardashian then shared a video of herself kicking her leg back, working on her famous booty. “I’m officially that pathetic girl [in] the gym snapping & working out … In full hair & make up!” she quipped on Snapchat.
Just 14 hours later, the dedicated mom of two returned to the gym for an early morning workout session.
“I’m up early. Let the workout begin,” she told the camera on Wednesday, August 3, covering her face with both her phone and a weight lifter emoji. In the short video, Kardashian looked incredible in a black sports bra, which showcased her killer abs, and black leggings.
Moments later, the Selfish author was outside doing “sprints then lunges on rotation.”
All of the reality star’s hard work is certainly paying off. In May, a 132-pound Kardashian stepped on the scale and told her Snapchat followers that she was only “12 pounds” away from being “2010 Kim.”
She later told E! News in June: “I’m definitely [down] to my goal weight. I’m down more than I expected.”
To drop the 60-plus pounds Kardashian gained while pregnant with Saint, now 7 months, she paired her grueling workouts with the low-carb, protein-rich Atkins diet.
The program’s vice president of nutrition and education, Colette Heimowitz, told Us Weekly last month that the social media mogul, who is married to rapper Kanye West, sticks to a strict diet in order to keep her svelte figure.
“She’s making Atkins a lifestyle now,” Heimowitz explained to Us of Kardashian in June. “It’s not like when you lose weight and go back to what you ate. She’s looking so good and eating so well. … It helped her rejuvenate — after pregnancy, the body goes through a lot, and you need those kinds of macronutrients to get back your health and your strength. … Kim can be motivation for all of us. She works hard! It’s not easy, you know? Nobody should think it’s that easy. It takes commitment and motivation and consistency.”
