Ariana Grande‘s got some pipes on her! The “Problem” singer did impersonations of Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Celine Dion during her Tuesday, Sept. 15 appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon — and the results were amazing!
The 22-year-old singer showed her stunning vocal range, first singing “Mary Had a Little Lamb” in the style of Spears, and then bringing the house down with a Christina Aguilera-inspired rendition of “The Wheels on the Bus.”
“We should just stop the show there!” an astounded Fallon remarked as he gave his guest a standing ovation following her staggering Aguilera-esque vocal acrobatics. Not that it stopped the show host from taking his own turn, performing an impressive attempt at “I Can’t Feel My Face” in the style of Sting.
The chance to let loose and have fun was evidently very welcome for Grande, who is still recovering from her July donut debacle, for which she apologized again during an appearance on Good Morning America earlier on Tuesday.
“I love this game!” a somewhat squinting Grande said excitedly, as she narrowed her eyes at the camera, appearing to be struggling to read the autocue as the Wheel of Impressions span to reveal her final challenge: A duet with her host!
Watch that, and Grande’s other amazing performances in the video above.
