Let the countdown officially begin! Fuller House debuts this month — and the cast is just as excited as their die-hard fans. Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber premiered a new sneak peek of the Netflix series during The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, February 9.
The clip features several scenes from the Full House revival. It also proves, once again, that not much has changed since the beloved series ended in 1995.
“Before we all eat I have something to say. Damn we all still look good!” Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) says in one scene.
The Elvis-loving hunk is also just as close with his buddies Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) and Uncle Joey (Dave Coulier). The trio hug it out like the good ol’ days. (Cue the sappy music!)
Of course, the San Francisco-based family would be nothing without their annoying next door neighbor, Kimmy Gibbler, played by Barber. As Stephanie Tanner (Sweetin) points out, she seems to be stuck in the ’90s.
“Hola, Tanneritos!” Gibbler exclaims in one scene. Other famous Full House one-liners that return include Michelle Tanner’s “How rude!” and Joey’s “Cut it out!” (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will not reprise their role as Michelle, but Bure told DeGeneres that they are referenced often in the show.)
Fuller House premieres on Netflix on Friday, February 26.
